  2. Beat lion king I didn't even know it was hard also dmc 3. Never beaten ghost n goblins water lvl was a nightmare

  3. My friend and I beat Battletoads back in the day. The trick is that the speeder level is not randomized so eventually you learn the pattern. One day the muscle memory took over for both of us at the same time and we beat it. Left the Nintendo on all weekend, even while we slept so that we wouldn't lose that progress. We also beat Ninja Gaiden, Contra, Castlevania, and Zelda 2, but FUUUUUUUUUUUCK Super Ghouls and Ghosts. I personally never did beat Mega Man, but by friend did. That's all to say that when you only have 1 game at a time on your NES and a whole summer of nothing to do, beating those games becomes possible.

  4. Um I beat legacy collection but this video is mostly the truth games like fortnite require no brain at all

  5. To be fair a lot of games that came out in our day kids cant beat/play. We didn't have a lot of the mechanics that we do today like save spots for example. I remember in a lot of games If I died I would start at the beginning again. We grew up in the era of competitive gaming, it's just who we are.

  6. I have beat Castlevania, Megaman, Zelda 2 and The Lion King.
Zelda 2 was not that difficult and Castlevania was quite easy right up to the last two bosses.

  7. Proud to say I beat every game on this list except Battletoads and Super Ghouls and Ghosts (actually never played this one).

  8. I think another reason why younger generations wouldn’t be able to beat/enjoy games like these would be due to the fact that video games are much more accessible today and in big number as well (ex: game compilations, mini-consoles, etc).

This could lead younger players a certain reflex that they can just switch games if they don’t enjoy the one they are currently playing.

I would imagine that back then, games weren’t as accessible as today, which would incite players of said generation to retry their game that they had difficulty with since there wasn’t much more to be entertained with (gaming wise of course)

That being said, I grew up in the 2000’s, so I could be completely wrong about my hypothesis too (If so, please don’t shoot hate comments at me).

  9. Why does Lion King keep making these lists? I don't recall ever getting stuck. There rest of these games, sure. Lion King was about average back then.
